Holy crap. How is my Junior year almost done!? And how has it taken me so long to get involved on campus? Two questions that I’ve been asking myself recently.

It began when I was ranting to a friend in my drawing 2 class about wanting to meet more Art and Design majors that share a similar concentration of Animation and Illustration. Of course I didn’t realize that she was the President of the Computer Art club. She told me all about the club and even mentioned that they were in need of two more e-board members. During the first club meeting of the semester the club leaders announced that positions for PR Social Content and Secretary would be available and that you could email in if you were interested. I emailed in saying that I would love to be more involved on campus and in the club in either of the open positions and attached a link to my website so that they could see some of my work. About a week later I was announced the new PR Social Content creator during our club meeting! Some of my responsibilities for the club position include creating Instagram posts and Stories to publish on our meeting days. We are also trying to start up Drawing challenges that I would be responsible for reaching out to ask for permission to share the finished piece on our Instagram. I am super excited to be getting more involved and active in my College Campus Community!
